Errors detected on PAM website tied to fees
Issue causing problems among visitors, employees
KUWAIT CITY, June 10: Some errors have been detected on the website of the Public Authority for Manpower concerning the fee for ‘first time’ work permits and transfer from one sponsor to another.
The fee published on the website as KD 50 turned out to be KD 60, according to the ministerial decision of 2016, reports Al-Shahed daily.
An informed source said the issue has become a major source of misunderstanding causing problems among visitors and employees of the authority with contradictions noticed every now and then, especially after the fee was officially published at website.
They blamed concerned officials for dereliction of duty over failure to follow-up circulars and decisions for necessary amendment.
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) is preparing to submit a tender for installation of new gas desalination (processing) at reinforcement station 171 in West Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.
Sources disclosed KOC has called for exclusion of Indian company ‘Dodsal’ from the tender for delaying the engineering, purchase and construction procedures in the execution of two projects affiliated to the company.
Accordingly, the Central Tenders Committee approved KOC’s request to submit the aforementioned tender and exclusion of Dodsal.
