Warba Bank concludes Ramadan activities

‘Beauty of Humanity’ campaign outstandin­g success

KUWAIT CITY, June 21: Under the slogan ‘ The Beauty of Humanity’, Warba Bank successful­ly concluded social activities during the holy month of Ramadan on 9-11 June at 360 Mall and every night during the three-days event, Warba Bank hosted Kuwaiti influencer­s who faced difficulti­es and overcame challenges to make achievemen­ts in the form of inventions or helping others in need.

Sheikha Al-Majed, who invented the “Electronic Pen” for the blind, Ma’ali Al-As’ousi, goodwill ambassador and winner of the Hope Makers award, as well as Dr. Hesham Bu Rizq and Dr Abdul-Mohsen Al-Kandari of ‘Al-Amal Medical Team’ shared their experience­s with the crowd in interactiv­e atmosphere­s, in which they inspired people and showed them that human beauty is embodied in their commitment and struggle to reach their goals.

The Warba Bank activity specifical­ly targeted young people to inspire them so that they can exploit their energy and capabiliti­es to achieve their dreams.

Initiators

During the morning period, Warba Bank offered its pavilion at the mall to nonprofit charity organizati­ons and young initiators. On the first day, it hosted the ‘Dinarain’ project; which is an educationa­l youth project that encourages the youth to participat­e in charitable activities in innovative ways.

On the second day, it hosted Yameenik_Q8 volunteer team. Establishe­d in 2012, Yameenik_Q8 is a voluntary group dedicated to helping needy families in Kuwait. It is affiliated to the Internatio­nal Islamic Charity Organizati­on (IICO).

On the third day, it hosted the national campaign to raise awareness about cancer (CAN), which was launched under the sponsorshi­p of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and seeks to fight cancer and spread awareness about early diagnoses.

Children had their share at Warba Bank’s pavilion too. A special interactiv­e corner was dedicated for them, where children were encouraged to develop their mental and creative skills through a series of interactiv­e quizzes based on intelligen­ce and linking different elements to solve on-screen puzzles.

Warba Bank thanks its clients and the entire Kuwaiti society for meeting them at 360 mall, and to witness successful and inspiring experience­s that made a positive change to the society.
