KUWAIT CITY, June 27: A public brawl between three Kuwaitis and five Syrians inside a commercial complex in Salmiya caused injuries to several of them.

Initial investigations revealed that while the three Kuwaitis were shopping at the complex, one of them got irritated after hearing the strange voice of one of the Syrians who was talking to him.

This led to a fistfight between the three Kuwaitis and five Syrians, prompting the management of the complex to call the securitymen assigned in the area.

Paramedics also arrived at the scene and they took the injured to a nearby hospital.

A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to get to the root of the dispute.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman and her son reported at Nugra Police Station that some unknown persons beat the latter in front of the residential building where they are staying.

Investigations are underway to identify the culprits and take legal action against them if proven guilty.

Out of control:

A heavy vehicle hit the plastic barriers that the Ministry of Public Works put along the Fourth Ring Road where maintenance works are ongoing.

Securitymen rushed to the location after receiving information on the incident and they found out the driver was driving beyond the speed limit so he could not avoid the plastic barriers.

The necessary action was taken and the securitymen organized traffic flow.

On the other hand, a Kuwaiti filed a complaint at Thaher Police Station against an unknown person whose vehicle allegedly rammed into his car which was parked in front of his house. He said the driver of the other car fled from the scene immediately after the incident.

The Kuwaiti provided police with a detailed description of the other vehicle and investigations are ongoing to arrest the culprit.
