KFH wraps up ‘Increase Good Deeds’
Ramadan program includes over 70 social, voluntary initiatives
KUWAIT CITY, June 27: KFH has successfully concluded its comprehensive voluntary Ramadan program “Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan 3” aiming at strengthening KFH’s social role, while reinforcing ties with various segments of society.
KFH’s Ramadan program “Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan 3” included a plethora of social events and activities stemming from the bank’s endeavors to solidify its commitment towards the society, while supporting all social and humanitarian initiatives.
Executive Manager Group Public Relations and Media at KFH, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh said that KFH will continue its efforts to support all activities of interest to the society in line with the bank’s strategy and social responsibility message.
He added in a press release, that KFH eventful Ramadan program confirmed the bank’s leadership position in achieving the corporate social responsibility, yet reiterated the firm belief in encouraging voluntary work, raising the awareness of philanthropy and charity, while boosting the community-oriented initiatives within society.
He said that KFH organized and participated in a wide range of activities and events tailored to reach out across the community. The activities encompassed the annual Ramadan Ghabqa that was held in the presence of the executive management and a huge number of KFH employees. The Ghabqa witnessed huge participation. Moreover, the bank held Media Ghabqa for local and international media outlets in addition to Public Relations officials in recognition of their vital role and efforts in the media, not to mention the confirmation of the bank’s keenness to continually communicate with all local media outlets. This Ghabqa witnessed remarkable attendance from different local and international media types; print media, broadcast media, and the Internet.
He indicated that KFH distributed breakfast meals at different places including Nayef Palace, mosques, Hawalli, Farwaniya and Souq Al Mubarakeya on a daily basis. The number of iftar meals KFH distributed and prepared by KFH voluntary team surpassed 600 meals daily in Ramadan.
KFH organizes breakfast feasts to workers on duties during Iftar time in recognition of their efforts and responsibilities. KFH voluntary team hosted several Confectionary Gergeian events for many parties including the Kuwaiti Association for Down syndrome, Nayef palace, the Discovery mall and Hospital.
Al-Ruwaieh explained that KFH voluntary team provided voluntary services to the public and assisted civil defense and security men and distributed food and beverages to worshipers. KFH is keen on reinforcing the human values among society individuals. KFH organized during its Ramadan campaign 2017 over 70 social and voluntary activities.
With regards to social media, KFH presented many health and awareness materials on its social media channels in collaboration with different parties including the Chairman of Fatwa and Sharia Supervisory Board of KFH Group Dr Sayyed Mohammad AlSayyed Abdul Razzaq Al-Tabtaba’e, Dasman Institute, Public Relations and Security Media, Shaikh, Talal Fakher, Reciter Meshari Albaghli and others.
KFH as a long track record of achievements in the field of social responsibility. It won several awards in this regard such as “Best Corporate and Public Affairs” from Kuwait Public Relations Association in an event held Under the auspice of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah.
