SEASONED travelers will often try to time their travel plans around low (off-peak) travel periods and they have some very good reasons for doing so the low season simply refers to the period of year in which destinations receive fewer visitors compared to what is referred to as the high season, when many more visitors are expected to arrive. Low and high seasons often coincide with weather, school years and public holidays.

It might look less desirable to travel in the low season, cold weather, empty beaches, lifeless roads, closed restaurants however there are other attractive causes you can benefit from traveling in the low season and here are some : first saving money, the supply-demand pattern dictates that travel in high season always referred to high prices and that’s certainly true while ticket and hotel prices drop to less than half in the low period and that’s vital to budget traveler also museum fair discounts, off season offers and many more will be an added value to save money out of your travel, second avoiding crowd why to wait for 3 hours in queue to visit any museum in Paris and get a limited time to be inside while you can be hassle free in low season and take

your time roaming around the city and visiting every single attraction with less tourists traffic. Experience the local feeling of the city personally I always prefer for instance to visit Istanbul in winter even though the changing weather conditions might be annoying but you will most likely to experience the local touch of the city, you will have more chance to meet locals, less rush to try authentic restaurants and finding for yourself a special treat as a tourist in quite times.

In the end, low season travel is not for everyone but there are some great trade-offs available for those who are willing and able to consider travel during these times of the year.
