‘Uphold law, you’re responsible for saving souls’
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah received 12 graduate officers of different specializations who completed their studies at North Arizona University in the United States of America, Sharjah Academy for Police Sciences in the United Arab Emirates and Plymouth University in the United Kingdom, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The reception was attended by the Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dousari, Assistant Undersecretary for Education and Training Affairs Major General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf and Acting Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Major General Nasser Buresli.
Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah congratulated the graduate officers, conveying congratulatory messages from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
The minister stressed to the graduate officers the need to apply the law on all, reminding them that they are responsible for protecting the lives and properties of the residents of Kuwait. He advised them to uphold the dignity of the people at the same time.
Meanwhile, Director of the Police College Colonel Ali Jassem Al-Wehaib declared the decision to appoint a new batch of officers in the police force with the rank of “Lieutenant”.
