MP Al-Anzi congratulates Amir on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha
‘Festival of sacrifice and redemption’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: MP Askar Al-Anzi congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak AlHamad Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, the lawmakers, ministers and all the people of Kuwait on the occasion of Eid AlAdha.
He explained Eid Al-Adha and the Hajj season are annual religious events which have a great place in the heart of every Muslim. He said Eid Al-Adha is the festival of sacrifice and redemption, so everyone must derive from it the spirit of peace and harmony among all Muslims and rejection of intolerance, racism and terrorism.
He praised the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King, government and people in providing the best services and protection for a large number of people who perform Hajj in the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the parliamentary Business Environment Improvement Committee MP Rakan Al-Nisf disclosed Wednesday that Minister of Com-
merce and Industry Abdullah AlRoudan has signed an agreement on the issuance of executive regulations for the operation of mobile and seasonal markets within two months.
On another issue, MP Majed Al-Mutairi said Civil Service Commission (CSC) Decision No. 25/2006 stipulates conditions for appointments to supervisory posts such as ensuring justice for all in
the promotion process. He pointed out the decision does not stipulate exempting anybody from these conditions, except those assigned in the offices of ministers and the like. He said the expansion of exemption coverage in recent years hindered efforts to implement the decision properly, caused frustration among diligent employees and distorted the administrative system due to lack of justice.
He then forwarded questions in this regard to Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh as he wants to know the number of exemptions since the issuance of the decision in 2006 till date, copies of exemption decisions, legal basis for exempting supervisory posts from the conditions, if the CSC implements all the conditions, and if the exemption decisions are submitted to the Personnel Committee.
