Symphony clinch 2017 Interhotel championship title
Holiday Inn settle for 1st place as Jumeirah bag 2nd Placer award
2017 Interhotel Conference Champions Symphony Style Hotel.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: The Symphony Style Hotel are the FBL/LBC 2017 Interhotel Conference Champions after defeating last season’s champs Holiday Inn Salmiya in overtime at the Mansouriya Al Arabi Gym on Friday.
If the first quarter was any indication, Symphony Style Hotel had the game in the bag as they started strong early in the game behind flawless shooting by Grismeyer with some help from Jimenez and Felipe. Symphony was up, 21-14, at the end of the quarter.
Holiday Inn changed gears heading into the second quarter under Prats’ leadership, chipping away at Symphony’s lead. Both
1st Placer Holiday Inn Salmiya.
Regency took home the 3rd Placer Award.
Individual Awards
The Finals MVP Award was given to Rizaldy Felipe of Symphony Style Hotel, while the Conference MVP went to Gustavo Grismeyer, also of Symphony Style Hotel. Mythical 5 awards were given to Jessie Bernardo (The Regency Hotel), Resty Capulong (Jumeirah Messila Beach Hotel & Spa), Martin Prats (Holiday Inn Salmiya), Alaa Al Shaar (Symphony Style Hotel), and Charlie Jimenez (Symphony Style Hotel).
The predominantly Filipino league also gave medals of appreciation to players of other nationalities who participated: Erc Ovodo and AbdulHaque US of Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa; Hussien Al Sayed ofr Holiday Inn Salmiya; and Saleh Ibrahim Moosa, Bassam Abdel Nasr, Gustavo Grismeyer, Joseph Adeleke, and Alaa AlShaar of Symphony Style Hotel.
The league also awarded Ms. Martia di Lauro, Ms. Angelie Ayoyon, and Ms. Nikka Pableo as Best Muses for Symphony Style Hotel. Also present was 2016 Best Muse Ms. Farah Jane Magsino.
Gracing the awarding ceremony was the management team of Symphony Style Hotel: Joy Lacuesta (HR Director), Yamen Althefe (F&B Director), Mical Girmai (Transport Manager), and Nino Savia (Training Manager). Also present for Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa were Savino Leone (General Manager), Tarek Lufti (HR Director), Nalina Perera (Finance Director), Ahmed Jarkas (DOSM), Cher Serkan (Executive Chef), and Geraldine Mia (Team Rep).
