veryone is keenly watching the diplomacy of the moving sand dune in the desert of the Gulf reality. The fear of witnessing a fireball does not exist anymore. All that is there is exhaustion, and soon the moving dune will come to a stop.

Who had thought that the knife of sedition would cut through the midsection of the Arabian Gulf region? The only one who had thought so is undoubtedly the one who made the knife.

Three years ago, I was crying for the Middle East at its burial procession. Majority of the Arab nations had also participated in the mourning process. We had eulogized and extended our deepest sympathies to the widower of peace and security. Despite all that, I am still shocked that a time might come to wail with pain for the Arabian Gulf.

In this horrific reality, we do not want to start pointing fingers at anyone. We are certain that many of the issues were passed under the table and several tricks were formalized in secrecy.

We also don’t want to stand with or against anyone. We will take a neutral stance because the Gulf is all of us, and each one of us is a part of the Gulf. It is not possible for me to cut off any part of my body just because it would be very painful. It will also be unfair for me to do so, especially when I am aware of the treatment for such a pain.

To preserve the main components of the Arabian Gulf is no longer an easy task, as presumed in the past. This is especially considering the current situation — a situation of wagering and intrigues, and an era of social media that is ruining countries through electronic wars which leave bodies on the streets without any substantial evidences that can be used to charge the perpetrators. I am really sad for the headache that our Gulf is suffering from. I am sad that men are continuing to fall here and there like pieces of the chess board game.

As leaders, we were supposed to tackle and solve issues behind curtains, given that we were not in need of coming close to the dais of the political theater. I therefore pray for the return of the elusive wisdom.

It seems like the GCC soldiers who were and continue to undergo training from one another in order to counter any aggression. Someone is trying to push us into using our weapons against ourselves. Perhaps this person has been preparing the poison for quite some time, with the hope of succeeding.

I really fear for this part of the world. My fear further increases whenever a new slogan falls and paves way for another new one.

Let everyone know this — The State of Kuwait is my soul and carries my essence; Saudi Arabia is in my heart; Qatar is in my mind; Bahrain moves in my chest, Oman is in my eyes and the United Arab Emirates flows in my veins.

We, as common people, should not interfere or brandish knives in the faces of others. We are all one – brethren and relatives – regardless of the evil in the one who is expecting us to weaken and fall asunder.

The adversaries forget that Allah is the best protector. They do not know that our soldiers are not about to retire. Perhaps, they think our military jets and soldiers are made of paper just like their planes.

Nonetheless, do not forget to switch off the loud speakers on the media mouthpiece which portrays the streets of the Gulf as though they are in a continuous fight.

Switch off these hired mouthpieces, especially the shallow ones which hide behind the title of “political analysts”. If we were to examine any such person, we would realize that he actually is a “political wrecker”.

May Allah protect and preserve our Gulf and its unity. May He harmonize the hearts of its people! May the clouds pass for the best!
