BEC launches new branch in Omariya

Bahrain Exchange Company W.L.L. (BEC), one of Kuwait’s leading worldwide money transfer and foreign exchange companies, has announced today the opening of its 43rd retail outlet in Omariya.

Situated behind Farwaniya Middle School — Boys, the new branch is BEC’s 5th in Farwaniya Area which is populated residentia­l area in Kuwait. Open from Saturday to Friday, 9 am — 9 pm the branch will cater to the many locals and expatriate­s in the area who require money transfer and currency exchange services. Customers can expect to receive BEC’s highly competitiv­e rates on currency exchange and BEC’s full suite of money transfer services, including Cash Pick-up and Credit to Account through EzRemit and MoneyGram.

To celebrate the opening and to welcome new customers to the branch, BEC gave away 500 gifts to the first 500 customers who undertook a money transfer or currency exchange transactio­n. Commenting on the new branch Mathews Varughese, General Manager of BEC said, “Part of our business strategy is to open convenient and accessible branch locations and to take BEC closer to our customers. As Farwaniya is highly populated with expatriate­s living and working there, we felt it was ideal to open another branch to meet the needs of customers in this busy and peopled area”.
