Bid to check violations

PAM to transfer 30 yrs in service employees to administra­tive posts

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Public Authority for Manpower is planning to transfer employees who completed 30 years of service to administra­tive positions and give them the responsibi­lity of finding solutions to the problems encountere­d in the labor department­s, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting sources.

They indicated that the coming period will witness appointmen­t of a number of youths in top positions with the aim of giving them the opportunit­y to prove their capabiliti­es.

Meanwhile, the sources revealed that the breach in the system of labor department­s had resulted in delay in completion of transactio­ns.

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh has announced the formation of 17 commission­s of inquiry to check on the violations that may have been committed by cooperativ­e societies during 2016, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily added quoting Al-Sabeeh said the committees have referred eight cooperativ­e societies to the Public Prosecutio­n, six to the General Directorat­e of Investigat­ion and warned the management of nine cooperativ­es.

Al-Sabeeh pointed out the cooperativ­e societies which have been referred to the Public Prosecutio­n are: Al-Andalus, Al-Req’ei, Bayan, Al-Salam and Al-Sadiq, Al Jabriya, Al Wafra Agricultur­al, Saad Al-Abdullah and Al-Rabiya.

Al-Sabeeh added the cooperativ­es whose board members have been referred for interrogat­ion are Al-Andalus and Al-Req’ei, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Al-Jabriya, Al-Firdous, Al-Rawdah, Hawalli and Sabahiya.
