NBK sponsors ‘Educate for a Brighter Kuwait’
KRCS project to support education of 5,000 kids

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: For the third consecutive year, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) sponsors Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Project “Educate for a Brighter Kuwait” to support the education of 5,000 children as part of its commitment toward corporate social responsibility.
In this occasion, Isam Al Sager, NBK Group Chief Executive Officer received KRCS chairman Dr Hilal Al-Sayer at NBK’s Head Office.
KRCS will launch this project in an exhibition at The Avenues Mall starting from 30th of September until the 14th of October. “Educate for a Brighter Kuwait” project aims at nurturing and educating children. The project will offer the financial support to non-Kuwaitis families with low income who are unable to afford the education of their children in Kuwait.
Al Sager expressed NBK’s utmost support for the project. “This sponsorship reflects NBK’s commitment toward corporate social responsibility,” Al Sager said. “NBK is keen to support the various private and public humanitarian missions and aid groups in their efforts to help children and families in need”.
Al Sager expressed his sincere appreciation to Kuwait Red Crescent Society for its active and prompt response and efforts to help children who are in need for safety and education.
Al Sager added: “NBK’s support comes in line with the bank’s customary and ongoing spirit of social responsibility as well as the vital role it plays in supporting all students, youths and educational initiatives.”
Commenting on the aims of the project, Al Sayer said: “This initiative is a great opportunity to support thousands of families in Kuwait to find the right education for their children. We are all invited to participate in the donation that will take place on Sept 30, at the Avenues Mall.”
