Deportation ordered:
Deportation for two teachers in sexual harassment
Based upon the orders of acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, two Egyptians employed as teachers by the Ministry of Education will be deported for sexually harassing a lady and a child at a commercial complex in Al-Rai area.
A security source said the incident happened at a draw organized by a popular communication company in Kuwait, which witnessed a large participation of Kuwaiti and expatriate families. Surveillance camera showed the first suspect born in 1979 fondling a lady while the second suspect born in 1972 pestered a girl child. The two victims looked upon the suspects with contempt and tried to run away.
The suspects denied the accusation of sexual harassment during investigation until security operatives reviewed the footage in their presence. They have since been detained pending their deportation.
Swindler nabbed:
A Kuwaiti man wanted by law for swindling compatriots to the tune of KD5 million was arrested near the Ministries Complex.
Acting on information that the suspect was sighted in the Ministries Complex, the securitymen rushed to the location where they found him and asked him to present his identification card.
When the securitymen checked the suspect’s records, they discovered that he issued dud checks to several compatriots and the amount totaled KD5 million.
A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution.
In another incident, an Egyptian was arrested in Farwaniya for violating the Residency Law and involvement in a breach of trust case.
