Jaison Joseph, the General Convener of the Niram-2017 Organizing Committee.
Children’s Day is a day to remember a great leader, who in his quiet but determined way, laid foundation to convert a nascent nation into a world power. His contributions to India and the world would always be remembered. He has hope of oppressed people of Asia, Africa and South America. He was a true democrat and a socialist. He was a writer, philosopher and secular. He was one of the strong pillars of NonAligned Movement (NAM). Above all he was an apostle of world peace, a tireless fighter to justice throughout
the world. He lived for great causes. Further, it was Nehru who insisted that if the world was to exist at all; it must exist as one, Samkutty Thomas, Kala(Art) Kuwait President, stated in a press release issued on the occasion.
Sunil Kumar, General Secretary, Kala(Art) Kuwait, emphasize the exclusive prizes for the winners as first place with gold coin and gold medal, second place with silver medal and third place with bronze medal along with memento and certificate. Besides the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, there will be 50 participants to merit prizes and ten (10) percent of the participants will be awarded with consolation prizes. Parents also have the opportunity to win prizes for Open Canvas Painting.

YMCA Kuwait is conducting Keralotsavam on Thursday, Nov 9 from 6:30 pm onwards at Indian Community Senior School, Salmiya. Members along with their children will be performing various cultural programs during this special event.
