T-20 NBK Trophy kicks off

A photo taken from the event. Kuwait Cricket kick started the season for the banks leagues for the year 2017-18 with the prestigious T-20 NBK trophy at the picturesque Doha Entertainment City cricket ground.

The much awaited new season was welcomed by all the participating banks with sheer enthusiasm. Top banks in Kuwait namely NBK, KFH, Warba Bank, Burgan Bank, Boubyan Bank, ABK, AUB, Gulf Bank, CBK and KIB are participating and competing for the T-20 NBK Trophy.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the new look Doha entertainment city ground. KC Council members including Rishi Jayan, Director — Seniors Cricket & IT, Harshith Vora , Director — Juniors Cricket, Robert, Director Facilities & Logistics, along with Organizing Committee members Omar Salahuddin, Munaf & Mohammad Naeem Jan (Senior Marketing Executives) were present for the occasion.

NBK Team Manager Ronald Fernandes along with the KC officials and team captains (NBK and Warba Bank) cut the cake to mark the inauguration of the T-20 NBK trophy. The opening match was played between NBK and Warba Bank.

Omar Salahuddin conducted the inauguration ceremony and Rishi D. Jayan along with Harshith added note of thanks for all the participating teams and sponsors of the tournament ‘NBK’ for their relentless efforts, enthusiasm and continued support over the past few years.
