‘Keraleeyam 2017’: Kala (Art) Kuwait, a leading Progressive Art and Socio Cultural Organization among the Indian community in Kuwait has scheduled to conduct its variety entertainment program titled as “Keraleeyam 2017” on Friday, Nov 10, 2017 @ 04:00 pm at Indian Community School, Khaithan.
The core attraction of this event is the handing over ceremony of the prestigious “Kala (Art) Kuwait — Sambasivan Award” for the year 2016 to the legend of Kadhaprasanga Art, Dr Vasanthakumar Sambasivan for his outstanding contribution to “Kadhaprasanga” realm. Dr Vasanthakumar Sambasivan will then address the audience followed by the most anticipated performance of Kadhaprasangam “Aneesya” with his team in presence of the eminent personalities from various organizations and enthusiastic audience of Kuwait. The award comprises Rs 25,000 and citation. Dr Vasanthakumar Sambasivan has been selected unanimously for his outstanding contribution to Kadhaprasanga realm.
‘Niram2017’ painting contest: The registration process for “Niram2017” Painting Competition is in full swing and the registration has already crossed 1,500. Students from more than 21 Indian Schools in Kuwait are expected to take part in the painting competition, which would be held at Indian Community School, Khaitan, in associates with ‘American Tourister’, on the occasion of Children’s Day celebration by marking the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India, Nov 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm, according to Jaison Joseph, the General Convener of the Niram-2017 Organizing Committee.

FBC tournament: Filipino Badminton Committee (FBC) is inviting all badminton

St Paul’s Church weekly activities: English worship services on Fridays at 10.30 am and on Sundays at 6.30 pm. The Friday English service has separate sessions for children and youth. A Mandarin language speaking congregations meets separately on Fridays at 10.30 am in the Youth Centre at St Paul’s. A combined service with the English and Mandarin language congregations is held on the first Friday of every month. A family service is held on the second Friday of every month with presentations from different organs of the church.
