Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUN involves and teaches researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
MUN draws a diverse group of informed students and faculty to address the current global issues. The conferences are experiential learning programs that provide students with a better understanding of the intricate inner functioning of the United Nations.
Bhavans Kuwait is one of the very few schools in the GCC that has its own full-fledged MUN club. The Bhavans MUN Club was founded in the year 2013. The club functions under the wings of the Department of Social Science.
