Egyptian says ex-sponsor threatened to kill him

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: An Egyptian expatriate filed a complaint against the former sponsor alleging she threatened to kill him.

He said the lady sponsor refused to pay his salary, and when he transferre­d to another company, she threatened to kill him.

Later on, her lawyer contacted him, and also threatened to send him back to Egypt if he declined to transfer his residence back to the former sponsor’s company. A case was registered for investigat­ion.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian lady accused her compatriot (owner of her apartment) of throwing her out of the place. She said the flat owner evicted her by force after a minor disagreeme­nt between them. A case was registered.

Kid molested: A girl was charged for molesting an 8-year old child, reports Al-Rai daily.

Apparently, the mother left her child in the care of the accused who happens to be her relative, and when she returned, the child reported the immoral act the girl had perpetrate­d against him.

The mother, traumatize­d by the story, went to a police station in Hawalli area and filed a complaint against the girl. A case was registered.

The child was taken to Forensics to prove the authentici­ty of his story. Later on, the girl was handed over to the Public Prosecutio­n when she admitted

the crime.

Expat arrested: The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentifi­ed expatriate for disposing the remnants of concrete from his vehicle on an open ground in Sabah Al-Ahmad City, reports Al-Anba daily.

The arrest came after a citizen informed the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry.

The driver has been referred to the Environmen­t Police.
