3-day event to welcome world’s best Jiu-Jitsu players
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: Gulf Bank is proud to reaffirm its sponsorship of the International Kuwait Jiu-Jitsu Open (KIJJO) for the 2017 edition. Running from Nov 16-18 at the Ice Skating Rink, Kuwait City, The Open will welcome Jiu-Jitsu talent and players of all belt levels to showcase their skills and athleticism on the mat.
After a successful 2016, which saw more than 300 athletes from over 20 countries compete in the Capital, KIJJO 2017 is set to bring three action-packed days the whole family can enjoy. Jiu-Jitsu players are recommended to get there early on Day 1 for the check-in and official rules briefing, before a Q&A session with the Kuwait International Jiu-Jitsu Open refereeing team. Day 2 of the event will see weigh-ins across the respective divisions as energy builds for the final day of the event. The Kuwait community will feel the energy straight from the mat on the final day of competition, as thrilling matches across the belt levels will take place to find the KIJJO 2017 champions.
