Megan Colarossi will co-host the “Good Day LA,” program on Fox 11 alongside Steve Edwards, weekdays from 7-10 am beginning Dec 4. Most recently, Colarossi co-hosted “The Way Home,” a weekly lifestyle and home makeover series on the A&E Network. Prior to this, she was a daily panelist on “The Meredith Vieira Show.” In 2013, Colarossi began her on-screen television career on “The Today Show” with a regular segment called “Friendly Advice.” In addition, she became co-host of a digital series on TODAY.com with Willie Geist, entitled “Parental Guidance.” “Returning to Southern California on FOX 11 is a true homecoming; I grew up here, went to school here, and my parents still live here. I am looking forward to some good home cooking, getting down to work, and sharing the stories that matter to southern California,” Colarossi said.

Stephen Colbert opened Tuesday’s episode of “The Late Show” with a biting monologue aimed at the recent allegations of sexual misconduct against Charlie Rose and the subsequent cancellation of Rose’s eponymous show. Just after, Rose’s former co-host Gayle King sat down with Colbert and explained why she decided to keep her appearance.

“I came this close to canceling,” she began. “We booked this weeks ago because I was here to talk about Oprah’s favorite things, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.”

Colbert responded that he couldn’t blame her, and commended her coverage of the events surrounding Rose.

“I was very proud of CBS News and what you and Norah and everyone at ‘CBS This Morning’ did, covering the allegations against Charlie Rose as news,” he said. “Objectively, and fully.”

“But that’s what you have to do,” she responded. “To be honest with you, it isn’t easy. It’s still very painful, it’s still very hurtful. Charlie and I — we worked together, have been friends. But when you think about the anguish of those women, despite the friendship, you still have to report the news.”

“And so when I think of the job we do at CBS — that’s why I wanted to cancel because I didn’t want to be sitting here talking about this — but when you think about the job we do at CBS and how hard the people work, I want to know we are a top-notch broadcast operation and that’s why I thought it was important to be here.”

She added that Colbert’s monologue had made her wince.

“Well, you did your job this morning, I did my job today,” he said, earning applause from the audience. “We have different jobs.” King conceded his point: “I thought about that too.”

“It’s interesting, when you were doing the monologue about other people, I’m like, ‘Ah!’” King continued. “And then it was Charlie, and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s a friend, I don’t like that, that’s difficult,’ and then I thought about what these women are going through and I don’t like that either.”

Jason Beghe, the star of NBC’s “Chicago P.D.,” has been investigated for ongoing anger management issues.

NBC launched the investigation after learning last year that there were multiple complaints about Beghe’s behavior on set, with cast and crew complaining about anger issues, volatile behavior, and offensive comments, sources tell Variety.

“People felt disrespected, he yelled a tremendous amount, he had a quick fuse and when it was set off it was unpleasant for everyone around him,” says a source.

The issues was brought to NBCUniversal human resources, a formal complaint was filed, and an investigation were launched. As a result of that, Beghe faced consequences that included written reprimands in his file. He was assigned a coach to help him deal with his anger management issues.

Sources tell Variety that there’s been “significant improvement” as a result of the coaching, and no complaints have been filed in the past six months. “The environment has improved drastically,” says a source.

“Chicago P.D.,” which airs on NBC, is produced by Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment.

“Mark’s passion for the principles found in the Constitution and success in talk radio has made him a distinct figure in the media landscape,” said Suzanne Scott, president of programming for Fox News, in a statement. “We look forward to adding this spirited program to our weekend lineup.”

Fox News recently gave its 10pm weekday slot to another popular conservative talk-show host, Laura Ingraham.
