ACK achieves prestigious AARU membership

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: As part of ACK’s strategic direction, vision and mission the college is proud to announce that it has joined the Association of Arab Universities as an Associate Member. ACK underwent an inspection visit in December 2017 by the committee of AARU chaired by Prof Sultan Abu Orabi Al Adwan Secretary-General of the AARU. to be of high quality. The committed defined points of excellence in ACK academic programs in the fields of Engineering, Business Administration and Aviation that are required by the Kuwaiti labor market in particular and the Gulf and Arab markets in general, in addition to the cultural diversity of ACK faculty staff. The committee believes that all points of excellence qualify the ACK to become a university in the near future.
The Association of Arab Universities is a non-governmental organization that has an independent legal character. It was established in 1964 upon a resolution issued by the Arab League. The Association seeks to achieve cooperation amongst Arab universities and institutes of higher education to promote quality assurance and accreditation. On the other hand it seeks to achieve cooperation with counterpart associations and institutions to raise the level of higher education, to promote joint research projects, to support and encourage mutual students’ activities. The AARU coordinates the efforts of all members at international assemblies and conferences.
