KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Lulu Exchange, the leading foreign exchange and remittance company in Kuwait opened its 22nd branch at Metro Center in Farwaniya on Sunday.

The branch was inaugurate­d by Narayan Pradhan, Vice-President – GCC & India, LuLu Exchange in the presence of guests, customers and the senior management of Lulu Exchange Company WLL.

“We are excited to open our third branch in the Farwaniya region. With this opening we are 22 branches strong in Kuwait and it has been a wonderful journey for Lulu Exchange. With the opening of the new branch, the exchange house currently has 22 branches across the State of Kuwait, one each in Jahra, Egaila, Al Rai, Mirgab, Dajeej, Mubarakiya and Khaitan; two branches each in Mangaf, Salamiya, Fahaheel and Abbasiya regions; three in Farwaniya and four in Mahaboula. KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Under the theme “Cheese Lovers”, The Sultan Center (TSC) held a cheese tasting event at its Salmiya and Sharq store to showcase the authentic variety of cheeses from France and Italy which are renowned for their premium quality and exquisite taste.

The event was led by Chef Ellie Maalouf from Farmland Co. who educated customers on the different types of cheese available, and how adding cheese to a variety of dishes can enhance the flavor of the dish. Chef Ellie, also provided customers with informatio­n on cheese textures, pairing cheese with your favorite meal or served alone and tips on how to store and cut cheese.

Towards the end of the “Cheese Lovers” event, customers were handed recipes brochures that provided a variety of easy recipes ideas including ingredient­s and method of cooking.

Jaafar Ibrahim — TSC Salmiya Store Manager- said: “we are delighted that our customers enjoyed the tasting event and learned about the wide variety of cheeses available at TSC, which was a true sensory experience for them”. Ibrahim further commented that customers can order cheese and party trays from TSC stores for any event or occasion.
