CSC asks ‘education’ to re-interview directors

Interior to re-examine 550 students

-

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has informed the Education Ministry on the need to re-interview educational affairs directors and cancel the results of previous interviews passed by five educators, reports Al-Anba daily.

The CSC clarified significance of conducting interviews based on the new law on supervisory appointments, indicating it does not object to the action of the ministry regarding the interviews but it needs to confirm they were done in accordance with the new law.

Knowledgeable sources disclosed the ministry will carry out the instructions of CSC and open the door of nomination for those who met the conditions in the next few days.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry intends to re-examine 550 students who were admitted as officer trainees but did not start their studies to ensure their safety and fitness, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a high level security source.

The source revealed the Defense Ministry took a similar step earlier to avoid the spread of any infectious disease.

Meanwhile, the source said the Interior Ministry will hold a ceremony for graduates of the Defense Ministry in Saad Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences.

The source affirmed the academy will be ready for graduation ceremonies from the beginning of March, indicating this step was taken due to the ongoing maintenance works in Ali Al-Sabah Military Faculty.
