Project visa

-

I am on Kuwait residence visa for past 3 years. My monthly salary is KD 4,500. I recently had my wife and son on family visa for past 2 years but as this was not really required, as they were mostly at home in Indonesia, I cancelled the residence. My wife is Indonesian, has Indonesian passport and son holds a UK passport. I had our marriage certificate and son’s birth certificate attested and stamped etc. I am now planning to bring them here on a visit visa in March and also July but heard that there is a new law saying I cannot get another visa within 6 months for some weird reason. Can you verify and explain why and what my options are?

Answer: The law you referred to is not actually a new law. It has been there for sometime now. It was enacted to curb the abuse some applicants subjected it to. So it is therefore true that if you bring your wife and son here for a visit and they exit the country after their stay, you will not be able to bring them back on another visit visa except after a duration of six months following their exit of Kuwait.
