KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: On the occasion of Kuwait’s independence and liberation anniversaries, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), in another first-of-itskind initiative, launched a special musical work presented as a commemorative gift to Kuwait.

Manal Al Mattar, NBK Public Relations Assistant General Manager said: “Titled ‘Go Live’, the national song, performed by the Kuwaiti talented singer Bashar Al Shatti, is a piece of art that is rich in connotations and invokes remarkably vivid community related associations, reflects the modern social life, the interests of youth and a direct call for them to communicate and share their special talents and moments in Kuwait with their loved ones proudly and thankfully.”

The song is revealed on TV stations as well as in cinema theaters. Social media followers can watch the song through NBK social media channels on YouTube and Facebook NBKGroup or Instagram and Twitter @NBKGroup. Special competitions are held with valuable prizes on NBK social media channels.

“This unprecedented musical work is a commemorative gift for Kuwait and on awareness towards social responsibility and to encourage youth to communicate and raise their devotion towards their country,” Al Mattar added.

NBK reinforced its position as a lead contributor to the development of the Kuwaiti society through its commitment to corporate social responsibility. This commitment became evident in the numerous social and philanthropic initiatives and national responsibilities including the special musical operetta “Habibityi ya Kuwait” that was launched on the occasion of Kuwait’s independence Golden Jubilee, Baqoun and Hatha Howa Elkuweiti.
