ABK bags ‘trophy’ at pediatric event

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: Following its participation at the 5th Annual Pediatric Emergency Conference, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) received a trophy recognising its efforts in supporting the development of the pediatric community. Held at the Millennium Hotel in Kuwait on Feb 7 and 8, 2018, the conference which provided training for 120 pediatric practitioners, was organised by the Kuwaiti Board of Pediatrics.

ABK endeavors to participate in initiatives that propel progress and change in the community and strive to invest in areas that will transform the way things are done. KPEC is an opportunity to demonstrate the Bank’s support towards the development of medical services catering to children in the belief that improving operational efficiency is a key element in diagnosing, curing and saving children during emergencies.

During the conference, the Kuwaiti Board of Pediatrics Residents Committee conducted lectures and workshops, featuring internal and external speakers, with an aim to equip pediatricians with the necessary knowledge to improve their day-to-day activities and emergency operations.
