ACK to host PBL Symposium
‘Motivation, creativity in classroom’
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: The Center for Project Based Learning at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) is organizing its third annual “Project Based Learning (PBL) Symposium” under the theme “PBL — Motivation and Creativity in the Classroom” on March 22nd, 2018.
Supported by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and set to be held at ACK’s campus in West Mishref, the symposium will bring together educators of various fields to share expectations, learning techniques and experiences that influence and shape the learning process of the next generation of professionals.
With keynote speeches from Prof. Alex Stojcevski, Dean of the School of Software & Electrical Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and Prof Xiangyun Du, Professor at Aalborg University UNESCO Center for Problem and Project Based Learning, Denmark and two internationally recognized experts for Project Based Learning will share their insights. The symposium will also serve as a platform for professional development of educators involved in tertiary level education, while providing networking and knowledgesharing opportunities between the panel of speakers and symposium attendees.
