Kuwait Rally ‘concludes’
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18, (KUNA): Bassel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club concluded Saturday the 3rd Round of Kuwait Rally championship, held amidst fierce competition among the riders.
Sheikh Athbi Nayef Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Club’s Rally Committee, told KUNA the race, which was held in Bnaider, south of Kuwait, witnessed 22 racers.
He thanked Meshari Al-Sabti, director of Rally at the Club, for organizing the race despite the bad weather conditions.
Meshari Al-Dhefeeri, Abdulaziz AlBashir and Essam Al-Najadi occupied the first three positions in the cars’ category.
Qatari Sheikh Hamad bin Eid, Saudi Muneef Sulaimani and Saudi Khalaf Jo’an won the SUV’s category.
