TAITRA leads Taiwan Trade Mission to Kuwait
Firms showcase Taiwanese products, discuss business prospects

KUWAIT CITY, March 13: Commissioned by the Ministry of Finance and Industry, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) lead a delegation of 26 well established and recognised Taiwanese companies from various industries for a trade mission to Kuwait for the purpose of facilitating business cooperation between the delegates and their counterparts in the Middle East.
Inaugurated by Taipei Commercial Representative Office in Kuwait his Excellency Ambassador Hua-Wei Mou alongside officials from the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce, the mission featured a series of trade meetings in the form of an exhibit, giving local buyers a valuable platform to discuss business prospects with the participating Taiwanese companies.
The delegation has already visited Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and will move on to the UAE after concluding Kuwait’s turn, showcasing Taiwanese products and services in a bid to further strengthen trade relations between Taiwan and the four countries.
Considering the great stride in strengthening its major industries, Taiwan is now considered to be a technologically advanced manufacturing powerhouse, home to key companies that provides various products including IT components, industrial machinery, textile and many more.
Here are some of the products being presented by the participating Taiwanese companies:
1. Valves: Safety and pressure reducing valve, Hydraulic Control and Electric/pneumatic Actuator Solenoid Valves.
2. Digital Signage players, servers, softwares and solutions.
3. Shop Fittings, Display Products and other Business Equipment. 4. LED Balloon Lights and Drones. 5. Various hardware and pneumatic Tools used in various fields such as Auto Repairs, Electrical and carpentry.
6. Textile Products like Polyester,T/R and N/R of Fabrics.
7. Submersible Sewage Pumps, Water Filters and Industrial Fans.
8. Honing Seamless Steel Pipes and Hard Chromium Rods for Hydraulic Cylinders.
9. 3D Printers and LAN Cabling Systems.
10. Plastic Injection Molds, OEM/ ODM Products and Rubber/Silicon Parts.
