Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza comes to Kuwait, the first store in ME
Restaurant marks Alshaya partnership
Build-your-own pizza
KUWAIT CITY, March 13: Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, the recognized world leader in build-your-own artisanal pizza, is all set to open its first store outside North America in The Avenues in Kuwait, later this month.
The store is the US-based fast casual brand’s first restaurant in partnership with leading international retail franchise operator M.H. Alshaya Co.
Since 2012, Blaze Pizza has been serving artisanal pies that are both fast and affordable. Founded by Rick and Elise Wetzel of Wetzel’s Pretzels, each restaurant features an interactive open kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s generously-sized personal signature pizzas or create their own, all for one price. Each ingredient and recipe has been perfected by critically acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford Kent (The Pizza Whisperer).
Every pizza features made-fromscratch dough crafted in house daily, premium meats and fresh vegetables, and is finished in an open flame oven which cooks pizzas in three minutes flat. Each of these elements have assisted the brand with becoming the fastest growing restaurant in history.
“We’re elated to bring Blaze Pizza to the Middle East and couldn’t ask for a better partner than Alshaya, who is a pioneer and leader in the franchise industry,” said Jim Mizes, president and CEO of Blaze Pizza. “We’re proud to be changing the way people eat pizza and can’t wait to cultivate fanatics across Kuwait and beyond,” he added.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will be located at Grand Plaza — The Avenues. To find out more about Blaze Pizza, follow them on Instagram @blazepizzame or Facebook at facebook.com/ BlazePizzaMiddleEast.
