Festivals organised to mark Kuwaiti Youth Day – Al Arfaj
KUWAIT CITY, March 14: Director of Public Relations and Media Department at the State Ministry for Youth Affairs Nasser Al-Arfaj said the ministry organized several youth festivals and activities marking the Kuwaiti Youth Day which falls on March 13 every year, reports AlAnba daily.
Al-Arfaj disclosed such an event affirms commitment of the State in protecting the welfare of youths, reflecting its readiness to provide their needs and encourage them to use their leisure time in activities that can help them realize their aspirations. He said the activities included a workshop and lecture series. He added the week-long event, which started on March 13, is being held at the Conferences Hall in Al-Hamra Tower. The lectures being delivered by experts focus on youths and their ideologies, as well as their preoccupations.
He enumerated titles of the lectures as follows: “Engineer Your Life” by Eng Tareq Al-Derbas, “Professional Excellence” by Abdullah Al-Hajeri, “Image Laundering” by Yousef Kazem, “How Do You Invest Your Time?” by Dhikrayat Al-Mutairi, “Excellent Strategy to Serve Customers” by Hanan AlHabib, “Nationality and Nationalism” by Noor Al-Huwaidi, “Photoshop” by Abdullah Hamadah, “Conviction Skills” by Abdullah Al-Safran, “Principles of Welfare” by Eman Al-Bazaz, “Rumors and Dangers on Societies” by Ahmad Al-Shokri, and “Relating with the Handicapped” by Maryam Abdul-Samad.
