Good news for muezzins:

Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Fahd Al-Affasi brought good news to muezzins after Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah issued a decision exempting them from the salary condition for obtaining a driving license like the imams, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a press statement, Affasi explained the minister took the decision because he understands the nature of work of muezzins and their need for a driving license in carrying out their tasks.
