720 officers promoted:

The Police Affairs Committee endorsed the promotion of 720 officers from lieutenant colonel to colonel in its recently concluded meeting presided over by Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dousari with the assistant undersecretaries in attendance, reports Al-Rai daily quoting security sources.

Sources disclosed the committee discussed a number of issues, the most important of which are the new budget, security plans and periodical promotions from lieutenant colonel to colonel.
