Tooth friendly foods
Eating cranberries, blueberries or raspberries can reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth and help prevent tooth decay.
Cinnamon is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory so is useful in preventing tooth decay and gum disease.
Apples and pears have a high water content so they make a perfect snack as they dilute the sugars in your mouth. They also help stimulate saliva which is antibacterial!
A small piece of hard cheese at the end of a meal is also beneficial for your teeth. Not only does it contain calcium — good for the strength and health of teeth and bones — it also counteracts the acids produced by sugary desserts.
