‘Kuwait-Arab security ties contribute to facing security challenges’

Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah said Wednesday Kuwait’s ties with Gulf and Arab countries contribute significan­tly to uniting visions and objectives on facing security challenges and hazards.

Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah made his remarks in a statement after meeting with delegation­s from GCC states and Arab countries that are participat­ing in the graduation ceremony of the 44th batch of graduating police officers from Saad Al-Abdulllah Academy for Security Sciences.

Addressing the newly graduating offices, he stressed the importance of devoting their studies and practical training towards serving the security institutio­n in order to embody the real image of faithful security officers who are trained and qualified to preserve the security and safety of their country and people.

It is important for security officers to pursue further studies and researches after their graduation and training in order to elevate their efficiency level that would, eventually, empower them to perform their duties to the fullest.

Furthermor­e, Sheikh Khaled AlJarrah congratula­ted the graduating officeers and wished them all the best of luck in their career.

The meeting was attended by Interior Ministry Undersecre­tary Major-General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. (KUNA)
