Launch of Pakistan brand MITCHELL’S in Kuwait inaugurated
Event organized by Pakistan Business Centre Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, April 5: Lord Mayor of Lahore Col (r) Mubashir Javed, famous businessman of UK and USA Naeem-ul-Haq, Kuwaiti renowned businessman Abdullah Salman, President of Pakistan Business Council Muhammad Arif Butt, various businessmen of Kuwait and Asian community gathered together in an inauguration ceremony of the launch of Pakistani brand MITCHELL’S in Kuwait. The event was organized by Pakistan Business Centre Kuwait in a regional restaurant.
Hosting the ceremony Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir, inaugurated the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the honourable guests of the day Lord Mayor of Lahore Col (r) Mubashir Javed, Director of Jamiat-ul-Jabria Abdullah Salman, renowned Kuwaiti businessman Abdullah AlUbaid, famous businessman Moosa Boland, Khalida Al-Ghilaf, President of Kuwait Businesswoman Mashail Al-Eswesi, famous trader based in UK and USA Naeem Malik and Muhammad Shehzad bhatti who came all the way from UK.
The vocal host of the ceremony Sohail Yousaf compèred the event efficiently. He welcomed the respectable guests of the ceremony Naeem Malik and Muhammad Arif Bhatti, the renowned traders in UK. Hafiz Amir Shabbir took the honour of reciting The Holy Quran to begin with the ceremonial activity, while Naat-e-Rusool (PBUH) was offered by Feroze Khan.
The vocal host of the ceremony Sohail Yousaf kicked start the ceremony by enlightening the audience about Pakistan being the 26th biggest economy of the world, whilst Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir playing a pivotal role in introducing Pakistani products in Kuwait for the sake of creating a positive image of Pakistan across the world, specifically Kuwait. After successfully launching the products of Pakistani brand Qarshi, surgical instruments and various other Pakistani products; now another Pakistani brand MITCHELL’S are being introduced.
Senior Manager of Pakistan Business Centre Kuwait Raja Zafar gave a comprehensive presentation on the products made by MITCHELL’S. He apprised the audience about different sauces compromising of mustard, spinach and cheese, tamarind, green chilli and various other sauces that MITCHELL’S is producing and would be available in the markets across Kuwait. Of which all the credit goes to Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir for taking this initiative.
Lord Mayor of Lahore Col(r) Mubashir Javed was called on to address the ceremony, where he started off with introducing Lahore to the audience, highlighting the facts that Lahore exerts a strong cultural influence over Pakistan. Being a major centre of Pakistan business industry, it also hosts much of Pakistan’s tourist spots. The magnificence of Lahore cannot be entirely attributed to its gardens, historical places and monuments. Rather its ambience and atmosphere, its moods of joy, fun and fairs, and nevertheless the colorful life of the people of Lahore which renders momentum to the soul and spirit Lahore. People of Lahore are very hospitable and would feel honoured to welcome the people of Kuwait. He said that he would meet the Kuwaiti officials and the time is not far when there’ll be not more visa issues for Pakistani people and they’ll be able to visit Kuwait in abundance and work for its betterment. He expressed gratitude to the Kuwaiti, Arab and women businesspersons of Kuwait, whilst inviting to visit Pakistan.
He further said that Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir is doing a commendable job in promoting the positive image of Pakistan, by introducing made in Pakistan products. He acknowledged that It was because of his hardwork and perseverance that he was appointed as a member of Overseas Pakistanis Advisory Council (OPAC) by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development

Lord Mayor Col(r) Mubashir Javed had reached Kuwait the same day and was very delighted to address the people of Kuwait, for it was his first visit to Kuwait. He expressed gratitude to the Kuwaiti, Arab and women businesspersons of Kuwait, and invited to visit Pakistan. He stated that this is an important time to further deepen the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kuwait. I see my visit to Kuwait as a fruitful opportunity to bind our countries for the mutual benefits of both Kuwait and Pakistan. He said that during his visit he will meet Kuwaiti officials;and make sure that Visa opportunities for Pakistani people will soon be opened.
He further stated that this is an ideal time for the economic development globally rather than going for conflicts and warfare. Pakistan has a strong economy, which is flourishing in the field of agriculture. Pakistan has resolved its issue of load-shedding. Pakistani exports are being flourished, adding the production and export of olives, cherries and strawberries. Pakistan is a net food exporter, mainly of rice, cotton, fish and fruits especially mangoes and oranges, while mango being the most favourite food across the globe and Pakistan being the 4th largest producer of mangoes. The progression of exports of fruits has resulted into substantial foreign exchange earning, which has given a boost to Pakistan’s economy.
Pakistani businessman Naeem Malik, who came all the way from UK, congratulated Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir for the successful launch of Pakistani brand MITCHELL’S in Kuwait. He proffered all his wishes for this successful venture and acknowledged the introduction of made in Pakistan products in Kuwait to be a commendable job done by Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir. On behalf of overseas Pakistanis, he proposed full support to this venture.
Well-renowned businessman of Kuwait Abdullah Salman addressed the ceremony and acknowledged his visit to Pakistan to be very delightful. He concurred that Pakistan is indeed an exquisite and a safe country for tourism. He paid regards to Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir and gave him all the credit of introducing Pakistani products in Kuwait, whilst congratulated him on the successful launch of MITCHELL’S. He also paid regards to Lord Mayor Col(r) Mubashir Javed on the invitation to visit Pakistan and showed his interests in deepening the ties between Pakistan and Kuwait. Abdullah Salman unpretentiously said that he feels proud to consider himself a Pakistani and Pakistani people to be Kuwaiti.
Director of Pakistan Business Council Muhammad Arif Butt congratulated Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir on the successful launch of MITCHELL’S products, while addressing the ceremony and acknowledged the fact the praiseworthy job done by Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir.
Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir being a trilingual addressed the ceremony in English, Urdu and Arabic. He expressed his gratitude to all the attendees of the ceremony, acknowledging their presence in the inauguration ceremony of MITCHELL’S products in Kuwait. He enlightened the audience about the MITCHELL’S products to be available, by the will of Allah, in all the stores across Kuwait before the Holy month of Ramadan. With reference to the launch of Pakistani Brand Qarshi under the platform of Pakistan Business Centre Kuwait, Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir praised the hardwork done by the team of Pakistan Business centre Kuwait and appreciated the people of Kuwait for promoting Pakistan and its products.
