Kuwait said to give citizenship to about 4,000 people
‘Labor’ proclaims Kuwait Human Friendship Society
KUWAIT CITY, April 14: According to third item of Article No. 5 of Amiri Decree No. 15/1959, a Law No. 12/2018 was issued to give Kuwaiti citizenship to at least 4,000 individuals this year, reports Al-Anba daily.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has decided to proclaim Kuwait Human Friendship Society, reports Al-Anba daily.
This society aims at offering social and material care to patients who are facing difficulties in paying the expenses of their medical treatments, as well as help needy individuals and families with the cooperation of all charitable authorities and NGOs.
Also, a decree was issued to proclaim Kuwait Association of Amputees for an indefinite period to gather amputees and those who are responsible for taking care of them.
Social and psychological rehabilitation services will be offered to the members in order to help them in accepting the current health reality and helping them to merge in the society.
Ministry of Education has denied the rumors which were circulating on mass media that school hours will only be two hours and 30 minutes during the month of Ramadan, reports Al-Shahid daily.
The ministry affirmed that this information is baseless and the reports published by mass media are untrue, insisting that it did not issue any decisions or circular in this regard for the current school year.
The ministry clarified that Civil Service Commission (CSC) is the only authority that is responsible for determining the start and end of official working hours in all governmental offices and ministries.

This was revealed in a new statistics issued by the Central Statistical Bureau as part of the database system for employees of the public sector since June 2017.
The average monthly salary for female Kuwaiti employees is less than that of male employees.
