Al-Sabeeh welcomes all elements of democracy, constituti­onal tools

Info ministry to disburse excellent performanc­e bonuses

KUWAIT CITY, April 19: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, the State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind AlSabeeh affirmed readiness to face any questionin­g as she has always done in the past, reports Al-Rai daily.

Speaking to reporters, on the sidelines of an agreement signed on the projects of Kuwait Student Programs Center, the minister denied receiving any questionin­g at present.

Al-Subeeh asserted democracy is an integral part of developmen­t and the system should be accepted, indicating she welcomes all elements of democracy and constituti­onal tools, which includes questionin­g.

Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) intends to start the process of constructi­ve organizati­on targeting senior positions with the aim of filling the vacancies in three sectors, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources. They explained that directors of three sectors are being groomed to replace three assistant directors general who intend to resign. They are Assistant Director General for Financial Affairs Mahmoud Al-Qattan, Assistant Director General for Administra­tive Affairs Muhammad Kenaimesh and Assistant Director General for Monitoring and Auditing Affairs Eng Khalaf Al-Mendel.

The source said the decision on the appointmen­t is expected to be issued soon and will include Director of Private Sector Projects Eng Anwar Al-Helali, Eng Rasha Al-Adsani from Strategic Planning and Investment Department, Director of Coordinati­on and Programs Department and Spokespers­on of PAHW Eng. Ibrahim Al-Nashi, and Director of Contracts Department Munira Al-Emran.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Informatio­n disclosed that excellent performanc­e bonuses will be disbursed to beneficiar­ies before the weekend or early next week, reports Al-Anba daily. They pointed out that the ministry is disbursing bonuses to its staff for the first time in April after many years of conducting the process in July or August.

The maximum sum paid to employees annually is KD 3,000, with the ministry undersecre­tary receiving KD 2,500, assistant undersecre­tary (KD 2,000), director of department (KD 1,500), supervisor (KD 1,250), head of department (KD 1,000), head of division (KD 850), employees from categories “A” to “D” (KD 800), employees from categories “E” to “H” (KD 600), and those with technical jobs (KD 300).
