Solar project sold:

According to the website “Renewables Now”, the Canadian Solar Inc announced that it has concluded the sale of the 80.6-MWp Guimarania solar project in Brazil to a unit of Spanish utility Gas Natural Fenosa, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The company said this is the fourth project that was successful­ly developed and sold in Brazil.

The website explained that the Spanish utility Gas Natural Fenosa bought the project from the Canadian company through Global Power Generation (GPG), which is a joint venture between Gas Natural Fenosa and Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) that is dedicated to internatio­nal business, and has a current portfolio of 3,000 MW.

According to Fenosa, GPG expects to invest about $117.5 million in the developmen­t of the project.

New radio show eyed:

Composer Mohammad Al-Kandari revealed in his Instagram account details about his new radio show titled “Emart Abu Sakhi” (Abu Sakhi Building) which will be broadcaste­d in the month of Ramadan, reports Al-Shahid daily.

The radio show is directed by Wadha Al-Sani, and performed by Saad Al-Faraj and Hayat Al-Fahad.

It is based on the story of a building inhabited by a person who was selected by Forbes and other agencies as one of the top billionair­es in the world. This person is not only one of the richest men in the world but he is also the meanest.

‘Lions Kingdom’ in Arab fest:

The play titled “Lions Kingdom” performed by Teatro Plus band was the first play of the 6th Arab Festival for Child Theater organized by National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters on April 16-22 at Dasma Theater, reports AlAnba daily.

This drama was written by Ibrahim Nayrouz, directed by Shamlan Hani Al-Nasser, and features Meshari AlMejbail, Maitham Al-Husseini, Areej Al-Attar, Abdulrahma­n Al-Fahad, Ibrahim Al-Ali, Abdullah Al-Huwaidhi and many others.
