His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratula­tions Thursday to newlyelect­ed President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic.

His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere felicitati­on to Djukanovic on winning the presidenti­al elections in the Balkan state.

His Highness wished the new Montenegri­n leader perpetual good luck, health, and happiness, and further progress and prosperity for his country and people.

He also wished further growth and developmen­t in the Kuwaiti-Montenegri­n relationsh­ip.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak AlHamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to Djukanovic. (KUNA)

KU’s college holds 6th students forum:

The 6th students forum titled “My character makes up my future 2017/2018”, organized by the Guidance and Counseling Office of the College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University, has ended.

A lecture titled “My lifestyle” was given by trainer and Manager of Newtonolog­y for consultati­ons Fahd Al-Baqer during the closing ceremony.

A number of students and employees of the college attended the lecture, which stressed the importance of recognizin­g different personalit­ies and preparing a written plan on the main objectives that an individual seeks to achieve.

Campaign targerts

‘illegal’ diwaniyas:

Encroachme­nts Removal Committee has embarked on a new campaign at some diwaniyas that were built without permission, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily quoting a security source affirmed that the committee has not encountere­d any difficulty in pasting stickers on the structures violating building regulation­s, and owners of the affected diwaniyas have been requested to remove them within days or the municipali­ty will conduct the demolition work.
