The daily quoting reliable sources said the budget for expenses in this area is estimated about 2.3 million dinars which will cover the cost of developing a plan for research and studies in the area of privatization.

The head of the technical committee of the privatization program, Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Sabah, revealed last year a comprehensive survey of the most important government sectors, which can be privatized were taken into consideration which is to be done over 25 years.

However, the first and most important step is to study the project and its feasibility to understand if the goals can be achieved.

The budget includes the costs of a strategic study on the allocation of government facilities at the state level with a value of 385 thousand dinars.

The preliminary study also included the possibility of developing the efficiency of Kuwait International Airport in coordination with the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation.
