S.African Embassy timings:

During the Holy month of Ramadan, the South African Embassy will be open to the public, Sunday through Thursday from 09:00am to 13:00pm. Please note that the Consular Section operation hours will be from 09:30am to 12:00pm, Sunday through Thursday.

B’desh Embassy Ramadan timing:

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Kuwait will follow the following office hours during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Sunday to Thursday: 09:30 hrs03:30 hrs; Dhuhr prayer break: 12:00 hrs-12:30 hrs; Friday and Saturday: weekly holidays

Advisory for OCI card holders:

All those having OCI Cards are required to carry both their OCI Card and passport to travel to India so that they do not face any difficulty in immigratio­n clearance.

From October 2018, ICAO will accept only machine readable travel documents, hence, existing PIO Cards, which are handwritte­n will therefore, become invalid. Thus it will be necessary upon PIO Cardholder­s to obtain machine readable OCI Cards in lieu of existing hand written PIO Cards before October 2018 to avoid any inconvenie­nce.

Indian Embassy working hours:

With effect from May 1, 2018, the Embassy of India’s working hours will be from 0800 hours to 1630 hours from Sunday to Thursday with Fridays and Saturdays as closed weekly holidays. The lunch break will be during 1300 to 1330 hours (1 pm to 1.30 pm) on the working days.

Brazil Embassy notice:

The Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil announces that the Consular Office has new timings, being 8 am to 12 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

IMA-Summer Islamic classes:

Good News for the expatriate community in Kuwait.

Indian Muslim Associatio­n (IMA) announces its much awaited Summer Islamic classes this year on June 17, 2018 immediatel­y after Eid Al- Fitr. IMA with the coordinati­on of IPC, opens the doors of its well-known 2-month long, ‘Summer Islamic Classes’ program to students in Kuwait from LKG up to 12th Standard. Offering a syllabus with a wide range of Islamic subjects such as Quran reading/understand­ing/ memorizati­on, Prophet’s Life and day to day Jurisprude­nce. Apart from this, teachers work on Personalit­y Developmen­t of the students and also engage them in various activities including field visits. Competitio­ns are held on Islamic Quiz, Recitation of Quran and Elocution.

The classes are scheduled to start on June 17, 2018 and will continue until Aug 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday
