‘Coordinate, cooperate to enhance the security and stability of Kuwait’
Crown Prince chairs National Security Council meet
KUWAIT CITY, June 3, (KUNA): His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah chaired a National Security Council meeting at Seif Palace on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commander of National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah and His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak AlHamad Al-Sabah.
Also attended the meeting were First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah AlAhmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled AlJarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, National Security Apparatus Chief Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
In the meeting, His highness the Crown Prince discussed the regional and international developments, underlining the need for effective coordination and cooperation among state bodies to enhance the security and stability of Kuwait.
Palestine’s Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Riyad Al-Maliki said he will visit Kuwait on Monday carrying a message of “thanks and appreciation” from President Mahmoud Abbas to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In a press statement Sunday, Al-Maliki expressed thanks and appreciation for the role of the Kuwait in supporting the Palestinian people.
On behalf of the Palestinian people and the families of the martyrs, Al-Maliki thanked His Highness the Amir, government and people of Kuwait for their historic and honorable positions in support of the rights of Palestinian people and their aspirations for freedom and independence.
