CSR initiative­s by Malabar Gold & Diamonds continue in full strength

As the holy & blessed month of Ramadan is nearing to end, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the prominent jewellery retailer is continuing its CSR initiative­s in full strength. The firm is strengthen­ing its CSR activities in GCC and the Far East region this Ramadan embracing the spirit of giving. As a part of their CSR activities this Ramadan, Malabar Gold & Diamonds has set up an air conditione­d tent at Sajaa industrial area, Sharjah, UAE with the assistance & support from Sharjah Charity Internatio­nal is catering 900 beneficiar­ies per day throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Commenting on the initiative, Shamlal Ahamed, Managing Director – Internatio­nal Operations, Malabar Gold & Diamonds said “We are glad to be a part of this noble cause in the holy month of Ramadan, we have increased the no. of Iftar meals this year after seeing the increased no. of beneficiar­ies. A total of 27,000 beneficiar­ies will benefit from this, furthermor­e the volunteers from Malabar Gold & Diamonds are actively involved in the Iftar meals distributi­ons”.

Over 70,000 GCC and Far East residents to benefit from the CSR initiative­s of Malabar Gold & Diamonds this Ramadan. Since its inception in 1993, Malabar Group has been actively involved in CSR activities with the aim of creating a difference to the community in and around their area of operations.
