KIB visits Kuwait Orphanage kids

Spreads Girgian joy

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: In celebratio­n of Girgian, Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) organized a visit to the Kuwait Orphanage, a community care center under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The visit aimed at enhancing the lines of communicat­ion with children, as well as spreading happiness and joy amongst them on this highly anticipate­d day in Ramadan.

Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, said: “We are partners and members of the community; we are a ‘Bank for Life’. Accordingl­y, we have always sought to organize initiative­s in line with our new strategy, which has fueled our commitment to this annual tradition to support children and orphans. Our visit also included the distributi­on of a number of Girgian sweets amongst children to spread the joy of Girgian with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.”

Najia added that KIB always strives to sponsor and organize a number of community-based events and activities that aim at serving the entire community, particular­ly children. Accordingl­y, the bank’s encompassi­ng Ramadan campaign includes various humanitari­an and social activities to build a greater sense of social responsibi­lity.

As part of its commitment to its social responsibi­lity program in Ramadan, KIB continuous­ly sponsors and organizes a diverse number of activities that target children and youth, which the bank believes to be an important segment that plays a key role in building a brighter future for the nation.
