KUWAIT CITY, June 13: The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Mosques Sector observed the seventh night of the last 10 days of the holy month coinciding with the 27th Ramadan night at five Ramadan centers, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Director of Mosques Sector in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Dr Munaif Al-Hajeri noted the centers hosted thousands of worshippers who were all in a pious mood anticipating the Night of Majesty (Laylat Al-Qadir).

The five centers were filled to capacity with male and female worshippers who were seen praying for mercy and forgiveness from Allah the Almighty.

He explained that worshippers started arriving at the mosques during Isha prayer, while a large number of them remained there until the completion of prayer. He said many of the worshippers prayed outside the mosques on mats laid for them by the administration since the interior parts of the mosques were already full.

He affirmed that Ramadan teams were on hand to regulate the movement of vehicles in and out of the mosque premises. They also provided necessary services to ensure the comfort of worshippers.

At Saleh Al-Kanderi Ramadan Center in Sabah Al-Salem Area, renowned scholar Sheikh Ibrahim AlDuwaisan led the first four rakats, and Mohammad Al-Qassar led the last four, while Sheikh Ahmad Al-Rabadi led the prayers at Talha Ramadan Center in Al-Qurain Area.

Imam of the mosque Sheikh Yousef Jassem Al-Ayenati led the prayers at Aisha Al-Mohri Ramadan Center in Masayel Area. Several workers were honored at the center.
