Scientific Center inaugurates summer camp program
The Scientific Center affiliated to Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) inaugurated the all-new summer camp program, which will begin on Sunday June 24, 2018.
In a statement, the center’s Marketing and Communication manager Khaled Al-Ramli stated the summer camp will continue for eight weeks all the way through Sunday to Thursday every week and the programs are scheduled from 9:30am until 2:30pm, noting the participants will have ample time to experience a wide range of scientific activities and entertainment.

Photo from the programme to help children experience a wide range of science activities in a fun, expert-driven environment, and the program is due to continue until August 16.
He reiterated that parents can register their children on a weekly basis to participate in science modules spread over a 3-week program, with each week independent of others— although they work together to cover a full topic.
kids can experience up-front, hands-on learning in themes such as earth sciences, plant and animal biology, weather and climate, animal habitats and ecosystems (a specialty of the Scientific Center) and even field trips to archeological dig-site, depending on the camp (based on age) and the week in which children participate in the summer camp.
The program, which has been developed in partnership with seasoned educators, will help children learn about teamwork, verbal and written communication, creativity, STEAM-Based approaches to problem-solving and analytical thinking.
