Actor Abdullah suffers knee injury

KUWAIT CITY, June 18: Assistant Undersecretary for Television Sector in the Information Ministry Majeed Al-Jazzaf said Kuwait has achieved a big leap among local and Arabian channels in the first week of Ramadan; owing to the directives of Information Minister Mohammad Al-Jabri, follow up by Undersecretary Tareq Al-Marzam, and cooperation of other assistant undersecretaries, reports Al-Jarida daily.

He pointed out the rate of advertisements increased after the first days of the month — up to KD 600,000.

He also refuted the rumor that the ministry intends to cancel the television program, “Black Ghashmara,” stressing this is baseless information. He then confirmed that the program is a huge success.

“We apologize for any abuses in the imitation. We respect all the people in and outside Kuwait,”
