‘Residents in Kuwait can avail Tajikistan visit visas’

Kuwaiti citizens can obtain visas either from airport or embassy

KUWAIT CITY, June 18: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait H.E. Zubaidullo Zubaidov revealed about facilitation for granting visas to his country to residents in Kuwait of all nationalities, reports Al-Rai daily.

He explained that Kuwaiti citizens can obtain visas to Tajikistan either from the airport or from the embassy. Issuance of visas to Kuwaitis at the embassy will take only a couple of hours but for residents of other nationalities, it will take only two working days or less.

The ambassador indicated about ongoing discussions for a direct flight back and forth his country and Kuwait in order to increase the number of tourists from Kuwait, revealing that there is a daily flyDubai flight that departs at 5pm for Tajik capital, Dushanbe.

On the occasion of his country’s hosting of the International Conference on Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028, he explained that there is no region in the world that does not face problems related to water sources. Enough attention is not shown to the role of this unique blessing in sustainable development. All sectors and aspects related to human activity are closely related to water resources. Water sources are not only a unique blessing but also an essential factor for sustainable development that requires collective action and serious engagement in the exploitation and conservation of water resources for future generations.
