KIB celebrates Eid at elderly care center

Spreads spirit of Eid Al-Fitr

KUWAIT CITY, June 18: Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) organized a visit to the elderly care center, one of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor’s care centers. The visit aimed to spread the spirit of Eid Al-Fitr amongst the elderly, as well as distribute gifts to fill their hearts with happiness on this joyous occasion.

On his part, Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, said: “KIB continues to engage with all segments of the community as a partner in every aspect of their lives, a true ‘Bank for Life’. Every year, we aim at celebratin­g various occasions and events with the elderly, such as Eid. As it is an important occasion celebrated within the local community, we focus on reviving the spirit of this cherished occasion amongst family, friends and especially the elderly.”

Najia also pointed out that this initiative reflects KIB’s strong sense of community spirit backed by its comprehens­ive Ramadan campaign. Through its campaign, the Bank aims at introducin­g joy to the hearts of people and smiles on their faces before, during and after Ramadan.

As part of its commitment to a comprehens­ive approach to social responsibi­lity, KIB always strives to participat­e in a diverse number of religious events and community-based initiative­s, reflecting its mission to support all initiative­s that foster a sense of community.
